About our Clubs

Technology

lenzini golf clubsVibration control in golf clubs and how the club handles that vibration after impact with the ball is what determines the accuracy and consistency of the shot. Most clubs on the market nowadays have been developed over the years to do a reasonable job in this department.
All vibration is generated by sound waves travelling through or bouncing around in an object so when a golf club strikes a ball the sound waves travel around the the club head and up and down the shaft generating the vibration a player feels.
The low frequency vibration is what can be felt most by a golf player and this is similar to the bass in a speaker. If you stand in front of a speaker with the bass turned up you can feel the vibration but if you turn the bass down you can't feel any so what we have effectively accomplished is to turn down the bass in a golf club but left the low frequency vibration in the golf club long enough to generate a standard feel of a normal club and let the player know if he has made a good shot or not.
All standard clubs the frequency of the vibration ranges from 340 to 6000 Hz and will last up to 5 seconds but with the Lenzini clubs all frequencies are tuned to the range of 4800-6000 within 3.5 milliseconds ( 0.0035 second ) and the club dissipates virtually all the vibration in under ½ a second.
The grip end of the shaft and the club head are also turned into common nodes of vibration. A node is a point where no vibration can be felt or have an effect on an object so for the ½ second the high frequency vibration exists it can't be felt anyway.
To add to this the design of our clubs incorporates features which direct the vibration to areas within the club where it will not have such an effect and add design features which retain the vibration in this area. This uses the principle of sound waves are like electricity and will always take the easiest route away from the source and when it gets to where you want the vibration to stay give it something to do at a frequency the material likes and the vibration will stay in this particular area until it dissipates all its energy.
This last principle is particularly relevant to our range of irons with a sweet spot strike the vibration is allowed to act exactly the same as a normal club but the further away from the sweet spot the strike of the ball is the more the vibration is directed away from the shaft to aid comfort of the player. These principles are so effective we have a 1 iron blade which can be comfortably be hit all day long!
In the past many attempts to accomplish a similar result but like the SensiCor ( Registered trade mark or True Temper) they end up deadening the feel across the range of good and bad shots.

The net result of our modifications this is increased sweet spot more consistency especially on non perfect strokes which means you can put more effort into the drive and still hit the fairway.
All players at some stage catch a ball so sweetly it goes 30-50 yards further than normal shots but this only happens every once in a while but with our technology advances we like to think most shots can be to this standard.
The most common saying we hear when we are testing with a new player is “ That should not have been on the fairway

This is part of a reference from Paul 17 handicap

In recent months my driving deteriorated to the point where I was not enjoying my golf as much. I was therefore a bit uncertain about trying out your Driver. However I did so in friendly round with a friend and it was not immediately brilliant but it did perform better than my 2 year old Cleveland Launcher 460 Comp 9 degree Driver. I therefore felt confident enough to use it in a Matchplay Cup Competition. My opponent won the monthly Club Medal Competition 2 days before (when I tore up my card) and I was not too optimistic!

However, I was amazed to find that suddenly I was driving reasonably well and keeping it on the fairway. It got better as I relaxed into the different rhythm of the stiffer shaft and from being a few yards back was soon out-hitting my opponent by 30 to 50 yards and keeping it straight. I hit a couple of poor shots but even they were of decent length and on the fairway. On our SI 1 hole against the breeze, I easily cleared a bunker that I would normally only clear in neutral / favourable conditions. And I won!

The feel of the Driver is great - no vibration, solid strike, good trajectory, forgiving, looks good, and I felt I could give it a bit extra wellie without fear of a losing the ball.
